When we first reviewed his application, we saw great potential but identified that he needed our help to showcase his strengths in the best possible way. We worked closely with him to establish a strategy that would improve his GMAT score (690) which was a significant barrier to his success. With dedication and hard work, he was able to improve his score to an impressive 49 in Quant which helped him get an edge in the admission process.

Next, we worked with him to polish up his resume and create an outstanding profile that really showcased his strengths. We also provided guidance on his essays, which, after a few rounds of revisions, he nailed. As a result of these efforts, he received interview offers from all 3 schools he applied through us.

Through intensive mock interview training, he was able to confidently represent himself and secure a place at a top B-school.

GMAT – 750

The candidate had big aspirations – HBS, Stanford, and MIT. With her robust profile comprising solid work experience, a fantastic GMAT score, an impressive undergrad GPA, and a multi-cultural work experience (having worked in three countries), she was already positioned for greatness.

Her volunteer experiences were briefly outlined, and she could have better detailed her impact on the community. Her recommenders also had not picked up on important achievements in her work experience. Through our collaboration, we created a plan to showcase her leadership and client relationship skills effectively. We also helped her highlight her volunteering impact and suggested key pointers that she could share with her recommenders, further strengthening her application.

With grit and determination, the candidate transformed her profile, setting her up for admissions success.

She was accepted to both MIT and Stanford after being waitlisted initially by MIT. However, she cleared the waitlist and ultimately chose to attend MIT.

A determined, go-getter candidate approached us with a tough challenge, a mere 680 score in GMAT, and a dream to study in Asian universities like ISB and NUS. Our first discussion revolved around exploring the possibility of retaking the GMAT, but after three unsuccessful attempts, our client was ready to explore other options.

So, we put on our thinking caps and brainstormed until we found a solution. We decided to focus on her writing skills and interview techniques to present her work experience and achievements in a way that would resonate with the admissions committee.

Her natural talent and experience for managing large teams, making tough decisions, and delivering multi-million dollar projects ahead of schedule were all hidden gems that she was underplaying in her essays. With our guidance, she was able to write impactful essays that won her interview calls from some of the best universities in Asia.

With her sharp communication skills and our mock-interview training, she nailed her interviews and secured admits from to ISB, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and NTU.

Her story is a testament to the power of self-belief and resilience. No matter what obstacles come our way, we can achieve anything if we have faith in ourselves and work hard towards our goals.

After a careful evaluation of her options between universities in India and NTU, ISB captured her heart, mind and soul!
